Located at 20 N Michigan Ave #100, Chicago, IL 60602, SeoulSpice operates as a korean restaurant serving Chicago in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Chicago, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Illinois run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10:45 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach SeoulSpice at (312) 221-8165; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is seoulspice.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 428 reviews, which is a strong result for a korean restaurant in Chicago and suggests consistent service.
Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Chicago is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Like Chipotle but Korean. I opted for the glass noodles over the rice and I am happy I did. There were a variety of toppings to choose from. I just wish the meal was served warm instead of cold.

Just like the name, food was amazing and had all the ingredients and flavours to make it Seoul Spice. I got bowl half spicy pork and half marinated tofu with veggies, varieties of topping and varieties of sauce on top of it. Enjoyed every bite of it. Itβs easy to order and the staffs are polite and friendly. You can take out or sit inside and enjoy your bowl. Cold drinking water and clean restrooms.

This is more Korean-based fusion cuisine, very similar to Bibibop Asian Grill in both style and design - but I think Bibipop (while in itself not completely authentic) was a little closer to authentic Korean bibimbop style. I ordered "Classic" to compare and like their chilly-based sauce wasn't really gochujang. And the 'fillings'/veggies and meat and non-Korean spices. Bulgogi inside wasn't too bad, just had a little more 'smokey' flavor to it. The ordering was simple - you order at the counter, and they give you a ball. For those visiting from outside Chicago, there is a total of 11.75% added tax on top of the displayed price, so the final amount can mount to a quite an impressive sum π . The portion size was good, however, and it filled me up. It was nice to be handed a hot, freshly prepared lunch. People were friendly and several separately individuals asked how they could help while waiting for my order. The small tables in the sitting area are quite wobbly. There were electrical outlets spaced under the banquette (it didn't charge so fast but better than nothing!) and there is no free wifi (SEOULSPICE wifi is password-locked), but somehow there was decent signal/connectivity

I thought I would try this spot since I really luv korean bbq especially Cho Sun Ok. I didnβt go into this thinking this place was going to be anything like the Lincoln Square iconic resto but was really wanting some bulgogi and the purple rice was interesting. Set up like βChipotleβ style service, chose extra purple rice and double bulgogi with many toppings such as nori, kale, spicy cucumber, sprouts, carrots and soft boiled egg. A side gochujang sauce was very nice heat. However, overall the food was good not exceptional. The food was also not temperature hot and the bulgogi was not seasoned well enough for me. Bit disappointed but still finished the meal over several seatings. A solid 3.5βοΈs!!

Great food and a very clean restaurant. The staff was polite and service was quick. The space itself is modern and well maintained. However, from an accessibility perspective there is an issue: the push button for the entrance door appears to be decorative and does not actually open the door. The entrance door is very heavy, which makes it difficult to enter with a stroller or for visitors with limited mobility. Overall a nice place with tasty food, but fixing the door accessibility would significantly improve the experience for many guests.
